Private Loans

Schedule a meeting with our finance team to discuss your specific loan options. We are able to walk you through each step and support you in understanding your options before you apply for any loan.

First and foremost, you should be an informed borrower. We have plenty of information and details about our lending partners, but the main factor in determining your best option is you! Your credit score will be the primary determining factor (but not the only factor) in whether you are approved with the lender of your choice as well as your interest rate.

  1. Know what is in your credit report. You're entitled to one free copy of your credit report every 12 months from each of the three nationwide credit reporting companies. Order online from annualcreditreport.com.
  2. If your credit score is below 620, you will not be eligible for Sallie Mae or Ascent. You may be eligible with Climb. If you have unpaid bills or collections on your report that you were not aware of, these will bring down your score. If your score is below this, we are happy to speak to you in more detail with strategies for applying for loans.

So, now you know how much money you need and what your credit score is, you’re ready to research lenders. If you have amazing credit, you may be eligible for a personal loan through your banking institution that will give you lower rates, which is at least worth a conversation with them. Here are the lenders that Turing partners with and their details:
